Re-Opening Announcement

Dear Schoolcraft Veterinary Clients,
Thank you to all our clients (old and new) for your understanding and trust these past two years. We are excited to announce that beginning May 16, 2022, we will be offering in-person appointments.
To make this a smooth transition, we ask for your patience and understanding as we implement our plan and ease back into a more normal routine. The goal is to make it a trouble-free process for our staff, our clients and your pets. While it may sound like a simple task, there are a multitude of steps that must be taken before we open our doors.
To maintain the safest environment possible, we ask that upon arrival ALL clients park in a numbered spot and call our main line (269-679-5248) to check in. (We will accommodate curbside appointments upon your request -- please let the front desk know when you check in). We ask that you wait in your vehicle until you receive a text from our front office letting you know that we are ready for you to enter the building. Masks are not required to enter the building (although highly recommended) and we ask that only one member of the family come inside for a scheduled appointment (exceptions may be given for euthanasia appointments). The vet assistant will meet you at the door and escort you and your pet to the exam room. Following your appointment, you will receive instructions for check-out and exiting the building.
If you are picking up prescription medication or food, you do not need to call before coming into the building. You may enter the building and proceed directly to the front desk where our staff will assist you.
We hope that allowing in-person appointments will decrease wait times. We are constantly adjusting our schedule to try and accommodate as many clients as we can which, in turn, means our phone lines and employees are extremely busy. As always, we ask for your patience and understanding during this time as we work through this new process. We will continue to keep you updated if/when we need to make any changes or adjustments to our protocol.
