Schoolcraft Veterinary Clinic is excited to welcome Dr. Jacob Bloom, DVM, who will be joining our veterinary team on January 19, 2026. Dr. Bloom is a newly graduated veterinarian from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2025).

Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Bloom developed a love for animals at a young age and was inspired to pursue veterinary medicine after accompanying his family dog to a veterinary appointment. His passion grew through hands-on experience, including working in a veterinary clinic during high school and shadowing small animal practices throughout his education. During veterinary school in Arizona, he gained broad clinical experience caring for both small and large animals and discovered a strong interest in small animal general practice, where he enjoys building client relationships and providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Dr. Bloom values collaboration, mentorship, and teamwork, believing excellent patient care comes from a supportive team environment. He brings a positive, inquisitive attitude and a strong background in client communication from his training at Midwestern University. As he begins his career, he looks forward to continued learning and professional growth.
